A Revolutionary Summer is an intensive critical reading and writing workshop series dedicated to the dissection and creation of literary and artistic works. It exists to keep Black girls whole; to balance the scales; to offer up a Nobel Laureate, radical poet, and love story for every stupid, shallow representation of her. It traces, analyzes, justifies, and celebrates Black girl herstory and contributes forcefully, unapologetically to a sound Black girl future. 

2017 promises to be another empowering summer, but to guide 21 girls there, we need books we can touch, hug, and keep!
